We will continue to monitor the spread of the Coronavirus and will be following the advice of the government and the Church of England as we want to care as best we can for the church family. We recommend everyone should follow the guidelines from Public Health England. Please find the latest advice here NHS advice

Be part of something bigger

Through the wonderful world of the internet we also have access to so many other sources of encouragement and inspiration. Perhaps you’d like to follow the Archbishop of Canterbury on Facebook here?  The national Church of England is streaming a Sunday service each week on its Facebook page here.  Rochester cathedral's website is here.  Many large churches are also offering livestreams of their Sunday morning worship for others to share, for example All Souls Langham Place here . On Radio 4, Morning Worship is broadcast at 8.10am every Sunday here.  On BBC1, Sunday Worship is at 11.30am and Songs of Praise at 1.15pm here .

And where is God in this crisis? You might find helpful answers in this article by Ruth Valerio, Director of Tear Fund and Canon Theologian at Rochester Cathedral, here.

Keep in touch

Please don’t be lonely – don’t be a stranger. We are trying to keep in touch with as many people as possible through phonecalls and emails. Remember if you need help in any way you can contact Steve at the vicarage on 0208 467 1351. We have a team who are delivering shopping as needed. We also have a prayer team, co-ordinated by Liz Carter, and you can send in prayer requests for yourself or others here
