We welcome you to our Harvest Service. This year our Harvest gifts will be split between our Diocese linked parish in Tanzania (small toiletries) and Bromley Food Bank (non perishable foods). We look forward to welcoming you and thank you in advance for your support. Also, there will be a retiring financial collection for Christian Aid to help those people who are in camps following the Kerala flooding. Christian Aid is working to provide practical assistance to 20,000 of the poorest and most vulnerable people by supplying safe drinking water, sanitation supplies, hygiene products and materials for shelter.

All members of the PCC and Pastoral Care team are obliged to have a basic level of Safeguarding Training. Anyone helping with other church activities that include children or vulnerable adults should also attend training. These people must sign up for either one of the two days training offered this month. If you are unable to attend, please see Jenny, Helen or Pam. If anyone else in the congregation would like to attend you are very welcome. Training will be in the Garden Room on Thursday 20th September at 7.30-9pm or Sunday 30th September at 12.30-2pm (sandwich lunch provided). Please sign up at the back of church. Thank you.
Saturday 22nd September 201810:00Prayer Festival @ Rochester Cathedral
The day will focus on exploring the rich traditions of Christian prayer available today including:
• Praying with web resource;
• Praying with poetry; and
• Praying with images and music
There will be time for worship, for teaching on prayer from speakers such as Philip Hesketh, Dean of Rochester Cathedral, and for workshops offering the opportunity to experience different ways of praying in order to deepen our encounters with God.
